Boy it has been quite sometime since my last posting. Things have been moving very slowly and I have been feeling a bit down. But finally progress with the studio woohoo!!!!!!!!! As you can see the insulation and extra outlets have been added.
The sheet rock is now going up!!
This is the deck, which is finished now.
So this weekend I will go and get the paint colors for the walls and also price the light fixtures as well and see which ones will work the best. I will have a refrig in there so I can have fruit and water etc. so that when I am working in their I won't have to come into the house for anything except to us the potty. I also plan on having an area for the little four-legged kiddos so lounge around as well cause everybody knows they have to be where the momma is. I have already gotten some yarn that is soaking over night so I can do some serious dyeing this weekend. Well I should stop for now as it is getting late and it is time for me to knit a little an relax an watch a movie with the hubby :-) Trying to stay positive but more about that in my next post.
This blog is where I can share (and/or rant) about some of the things I love to do.

Finally Here
Here are pictures finally of the building that will be "my own" space my studio. Look at all the natural light and it is 14'x24' or 336 sq.ft. I am so excited alread have the accent color for the wall picked out a nice rich sort of vibrant red called "Bijou Red", it has cool blue undertones. Friday Dan, my sista's son in-law will come by and give me a rough estimate as far as what it will take/cost to insulation and gypsum board up. Michael will be building a deck tht will go from the back do right to the studio so won't have to worry about stairs. there will be a place were we can sit outside of the studio and a place where I will have a dedicated dyeing area as well and the other entrance will have a ramp to walk up. Below are pictures of the outside and inside of my studio the bare bones and I will do a progress of bare bones to the finished deal here on my blog. Here are the photos:
Now it is a reality and I can see my little studio/business sprouting, in it's infancy stage so to speak. I did have one name picked out for a long time but when it was set up and anchored down in the yard I got an entirely different name.

Rest In Peace Gentle Giant
Friday, December 28, 2012 at 11 a.m. we said see you late to the "Gentle Giant".
A husband, father grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. It was one of the hardest things I have had to do in 2012. He was a man of honor, respect, great wisdom and knowledge who knew how to love unconditionally and not judge. He was soft spoken and could be stern when need be, but always a gentle soul. Willing to share what he knew always especially his love for golf and the old movies. Oh an boy did he love his Patriots and Red Sox. The rule was you would not get much words from him if he was watching sports, especially golf. He loved play a good game a golf, some of his favorites were Jack Nikelson and Tiger Woods. How one could sit there and watch men chase a white ball all day was a little beyond my understanding, but to daddy it was a great sport. He was quite the althlete himself playing football and baseball.
Here he was at auntie's watchin the game, we always went to aunties for wither dinner or dessert for the holidays. It was nice to have ple get up and tell what they thought was special about our dad and how he touched their lives. Well I have been trying to finish this page for 2 days now so I guess I will stop here now. I miss you daddy, am so grateful for all that you did for me when I was growing up and even when I was an adult. Now time for some tea, knitting an a movie!
